This procedure describes how to update the 30-0121-2 Multi-level Supervised Input Module from Revision C1 to C2. The change involves replacing the EPROM (U23) with part number 80-2200C. This update can only be performed on boards of hardware Revision C1 or later. The firmware will not operate on older boards.

| 1. | Determine the hardware revision of the board by inspecting R19. If R19 is a 1.27K ohm, 1/4 watt, 1% resistor, then continue with this procedure. If it is any other value, the board must be updated before this firmware update can be installed. Contact Customer Service for further information. |
| 2. | If the board is Revision C1 or later, remove the EPROM in socket U23. Install the new EPROM, part number 80-2200C, in socket U23. Be sure to align the notch on the EPROM with the notch in the socket. Insert the EPROM fully into the socket, taking care not to bend any of the pins. |
| 3. | Affix the label marked "Assy Rev C2" to an appropriate location on the board. Remove or erase any conflicting revision data from the board. |
